I like McKay's approach to teaching. It is very informative and easy to follow, even for people who have had previous training. I am an adult and have taken tap for 3 years now. As an accomplished jazz dancer and former Latin ballroom champion, I learned and was challenged from McKay's class. It did exactly what I had hoped it would. Because it was a different style than I am accustomed to, he got me moving in various directions with my tap steps as well as using my arms and body more freely. I purchased a set of your "Tap Notes Volumes 1 & 2" DVD's from Amazon.com recently and just wanted to take a moment to applaud you for a job well done! I took dance classes when I was younger (off and on from age 3 and 30) strictly for enjoyment, but then was sidelined for many years due to illness. I am now 42, and in my road to recovery, I have been buying various dance instruction dvds, trying to get back into the swing of things. I was disappointed with every dvd...whether tap, ballet, or jazz..that I purchased..until I purchased your "Tap Notes". The instruction, demonstration, and the camera angels used are wonderful...and overall they are just simply, well produced. Thank you so much for creating this. I intend to purchasae you "The Class" DVD as well. I would love to see more dvds branching out to other dance areas and produced by Red Tap Productions, LLC. Again...great job!.. and Thank You!
